We are looking for a talented On‑Site Diesel Engine Technician / Mechanic to join our team specializing in engine repairs for our Distribution Business out of Manassas, VA.

This is a resident tech position. Includes company vehicle and will report daily to our customers location.

$10,000 Sign on Bonus, Annual Tool & PPE Allowance, Pension & 401K and Stock Purchase Plan.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Complete repairs and rebuilds on engine products in the field.

Develop productive customer relations and ensure prompt and efficient attention to customer needs.

Apply documented procedures and policies to complete repairs and schedule maintenance, including preparing required parts and tools.

Assist with completing required documentation, such as work completed documentation, time sheets, warranty claims and quality forms, via handwritten forms or business system input screens.

Complete training in line with skill and business requirements.

Ensure adherence to all meaningful Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures and legislation and report any issues or incidents to the supervisor.

Responsibilities To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Level II Technician: Some relevant technician experience; qualified to perform work on an intermediate number of products in‑scope for a diesel technician at this location; primarily engaged in moderately complex maintenance and repair; some exposure to moderate or complex diagnostics, requires limited direct supervision, may provide basic training or guidance to new technicians. Cummins engine diagnostic experience preferred on Transit buses.

Compensation And Benefits Base Salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications

Apprentice Certified Power Generation or Engine Technician (Preferred)

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

Current relevant electrical certification (optional)

Locally valid driving permit

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Cummins engine diagnostic experience preferably on Transit buses.

Intermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation or engine products.

High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience (optional).

Customer service experience.

Qualifications

A current valid license is required for this role.

This role requires a 5‑year motor vehicle report, free from major violations.

Applicant must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.

3 years driving experience.

Subject to DOT driving regulations including Hours of Service and Electronic Log Booking Device use.

Federal law requires a CDL holder to be 21 years of age or older.

Subject to random and pre‑employment drug testing requirements; ongoing random drug and alcohol testing.

A CDL may be required to obtain upon hire.
