Develop and teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Architectural Engineering and related focus areas. Establish and lead a productive, externally funded research program with potential for high scholarly impact. Collaborate with faculty within the CCEE Department, the Styslinger College of Engineering, and across campus. Contribute to the educational experiences of students and support accreditation requirements for degree programs. Engage in service activities at the department, college, and university levels. Minimum Qualifications
Earned Ph.D. in Architectural, Civil, Construction or Environmental Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution. Demonstrated record of research and scholarly publications in refereed venues. Interest and/or record in engineering education and professional service in area(s) of specialization. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Potential to construct and sustain a quality research program. Potential for excellent teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels. Preferred Qualifications
Nationally/internationally recognized high-quality research and publications. Experience with architectural, civil, construction, or environmental engineering education at undergraduate and graduate levels. Post-doctoral experience or equivalent. Licensure progress toward or attainment of FE/PE or similar certification. Exceptional collegial, interpersonal, and mentoring skills. Application Materials
