Shift Information 3 PM – 11:30 PM
Responsibilities The electronics technician will plan, layout, install, maintain, program and troubleshoot electrical and electronic controls and equipment, including PLC and motion control devices. Tasks also include mechanical work associated with these systems.
Key duties include:
Reading and working from complex drawings, specifications, or wiring diagrams
Creating drawings when necessary for project work
Directing the work of helpers and instructing plant emergency squad members
Operating a power truck and adhering to all facility safety guidelines
Preventing injury to others and complying with National Electrical Code requirements
Supporting environmental guidelines and pollution prevention projects
Maintaining organization, cleanliness, and quality standards in the work area
Qualifications
Minimum of five (5) years’ experience as a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with PLC and other electronics equipment
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Relocation is offered within the United States
Preferred Qualifications
Completion of an apprenticeship program or further education in the electronics field
