Project Manager

to join our Southeast Water Team in

Ridgeland, Mississippi

working on water infrastructure and facilities projects. The Project Manager will manage projects consisting of design reports, studies, technical memoranda, detailed plans, and specifications. The Project Manager must be capable of working closely with clients to ensure their expectations of services are exceeded. Responsibilities Design and manage a variety of projects related to water conveyance and distribution, including pump stations and storage facilities Design and manage wastewater conveyance and collection, including lift stations and force mains Design and manage pipeline inspection and rehabilitation Lead water and wastewater master planning Oversee water and wastewater treatment facilities projects Coordinate with other support disciplines and regulatory agencies Maintain quality assurance and quality control for project deliverables Travel as needed for projects, conferences, marketing, and other duties Assist the Southeast Region Business Team Leader in managing internal staff, coordinating schedules, monitoring budgets, and ensuring quality products adhere to Garver standards Participate in client meetings and industry conferences on behalf of Garver and the Water Business Line Lead internal and external project workshops Commit to ongoing education and learning to meet project and team needs Provide construction engineering administration management for local projects (excluding construction observation) Requirements Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program Must have 4 or more years of similar technical experience Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) Previous experience in responsible charge of designs, including detailed plans and specifications, for water and wastewater projects Strong knowledge of engineering principles related to water and wastewater infrastructure and/or facility projects Understanding of multi-discipled practices (process, surveying, SUE, geotechnical, structural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & control) for water/wastewater projects Strong communication skills Passionate about client service and the water industry Strong work ethic Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook Grow With Us Garver offers programs such as company-paid professional memberships, support for industry licenses and continuing education opportunities.
