Overview

GAC Enterprises, LLC is a well-established telecommunication construction company seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team. This key role is responsible for overseeing the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of materials, supplies, and equipment across our warehouse, yard, and job sites. The Warehouse and Logistics Manager will manage all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory control, inbound and outbound shipments, equipment oversight, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills to effectively coordinate logistics, negotiate with suppliers and carriers, and support our construction teams with timely and accurate material deliveries. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational efficiency and supporting the overall success of our field operations.

Responsibilities

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, track product movement, and forecast material needs to meet demand.

Inventory Audits: Conduct regular stock audits and ensure precise documentation of materials received, stored, and dispatched.

WMS & Software: Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related software for real-time inventory control.

Logistics & Shipment Coordination: Set up and maintain schedules for inbound and outbound shipments; oversee timely and efficient delivery to job sites or clients.

Fleet Operations: Manage fleet operations, including forklifts and delivery vehicles.

Supplier & Carrier Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and freight carriers; negotiate favorable rates and contracts.

Warehouse Operations & Efficiency: Direct daily flow of materials through the warehouse and yard; manage equipment and implement process improvements; ensure safe handling and storage per protocols.

Team Leadership: Supervise logistics and warehouse staff; assign duties and manage daily workflows; motivate the team to meet performance goals.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce workplace safety standards and regulatory compliance; conduct routine safety inspections and ensure proper PPE use.

Customer Service & Communication: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to fulfill material requests; resolve order discrepancies promptly.

Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support organizational goals and project demands.

Qualifications

Core Skills & Qualifications: Leadership, organizational strength, communication, problem-solving, technical proficiency with WMS and Excel, multitasking, and negotiation.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy materials and operate warehouse equipment; capable of standing and working in various conditions.

Working Conditions: Primarily in a warehouse and outdoor yard setting; may require overtime or flexible hours based on shipping schedules and project timelines.
