The Office of Admissions coordinates enrollment efforts across the university related to inclusive recruitment, counseling, marketing, application, strategy, and technical support for prospective students. The Engagement and Outreach team engages campus partners, external constituents and alumni to reach enrollment goals and coordinates group visits, daily information sessions, and recruitment events. Responsibilities

Co-supervise the Admissions Ambassador Program, a team of 50–80 current students who conduct campus tours, support Engagement & Outreach events, staff Ammons Hall front desk, and participate in recruitment activities on and off campus. Conduct performance reviews and provide leadership development for Ambassadors, including letters of recommendation and nominations for awards. Manage ambassador scheduling to meet office needs, including daily visit experiences, group visits, and admissions events; recruit, train, and supervise ambassadors; coordinate payroll and timesheet approvals in collaboration with relevant offices. Oversee shuttle operations and related logistics (shuttle reservations, maintenance, and safety) and ensure a clean, visitor-ready environment. Lead the Group Visit program from start to finish: scheduling groups, coordinating rooms and meals, preparing materials, and deploying Ambassadors for campus tours; lead group visit presentations and maintain accurate student data in Slate. Develop and implement a strategic DEIJ training plan for the Ambassador organization and collaborate with campus partners to sustain consistent training. Facilitate weekly meetings with coordinators and Ambassadors; participate in ongoing coordination with Engagement & Outreach staff and broader Admissions teams. Collaborate with the Engagement team to schedule Ambassadors for key events such as Explore CSU, Choose CSU, Daily Information Sessions, and group visits; ensure clear communication of event details and schedules. Assist with major events, front desk operations, daily visit experiences, and provide backup presentation or counseling support as needed. Develop policies, SOPs, and training resources for the ambassador program and support incident response and safety procedures. Assist with reporting, data management, and maintaining program documentation in Slate and Handshake. Required Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in liberal arts, foreign languages, cultural studies, business or related field One year of demonstrated leadership and/or professional experience working with high school or college students One year of campus visit programming or event planning experience Demonstrated experience giving presentations to groups of various sizes Must have a valid driver’s license or access to one by the employment start date Preferred Job Qualifications

Previous admissions experience Experience supervising student staff or working with a student Ambassador program Ability to work collaboratively and independently with strong interpersonal skills Commitment to the Land Grant Mission Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in Spanish Job Duties

Program Administration & Scheduling: manage Group Visit program from start to finish, build events in Slate, coordinate with Marketing/Communications, maintain event builds, schedule ambassadors for visits, ensure chaperone ratios, and supervise ambassador activities Program Administration: coordinate trainings, evaluate performance, and manage ambassador contracts and communications; approve timesheets and payroll with related offices Program Administration: develop and maintain group visit materials, recruit and train ambassadors, and coordinate events and campus tours Program Development & Training: design annual Group Visit models, coordinate experiences with campus partners, and support external engagement as directed; develop and maintain Ambassador Manual, training programs, and evaluation processes Delivery and Operations: provide shuttle operations training, safety procedures, and route-specific guidance for ambassadors and staff Other Responsibilities: backup information session presenter or counselor as needed; participate in professional development; represent CSU at events; support office programs Special Instructions to Applicants
