CT Technologist II – CommonSpirit Health
Perform CT scanning, recommend performance improvement activities, and assist in equipment and procedure evaluations in the mobile stroke setting.
Responsibilities
Perform CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations including Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Cardiac and Interventional Procedures. Utilize good radiation safety practices for patients, self and others. Use ALARA on every exam when selecting parameters for exam based on patient age and habitatus.
Display competency performing procedures; follow National Patient Safety Goals for patient identification, hand hygiene and universal precautions. Always produce high quality diagnostic exams. Accurately enter, select and/or merge correct patient identification information on the scanner and in PAC system.
Accurately and proficiently perform work‑ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions, on the 3‑D workstation.
Accurately and thoroughly complete hospital/department specific forms per protocol. Complete exams in Radnet.
Qualifications
Minimum completion of approved American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) or equivalent approved Radiologic Technologist Program.
Medical Radiographer: AZ (MRAD:AZ).
CT Radiology Tech: AZ (CTRAD:AZ).
Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS‑CPR).
Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR) or Registered Technologist Computed Tomography (RTCT).
Preferred: Three Years of CT experience.
