Job Overview
Oracle Applications Labs (OAL) is the applications implementation and development team within Oracle that supports internal system needs and the growth of Oracle’s Cloud Infrastructure business. We implement Fusion and SaaS services, leveraging AI and OCI native technologies to enable world‑class application capabilities.
Scope of Role The Enterprise Solution Architect (ESA) team aligns technology investments with business objectives, drives the overall delivery roadmap, and ensures OAL delivers measurable business value. The OAL Solution Architect owns solution architecture engagement for a set of prioritized business initiatives, leveraging deep expertise in business process, business applications (specifically Fusion) and cloud infrastructure to develop solution architectures that determine scope, size, effort and outcomes for the business initiative. The role reports to the Solution leader within OAL Product and Portfolio Center of Excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Align technology investments with company‑wide business objectives and shape systems that support rapid growth of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Develop and present solution roadmaps, architectures and delivery milestones to senior executives to set strategic direction.
Collaborate with product management, engineering and business leaders to translate strategic initiatives into robust, value‑driven technical solutions.
Define and guide high‑priority, enterprise‑wide architectural initiatives, improving operational efficiency and maximizing AI/ML opportunities.
Work with other architects to mentor, influence best practices and contribute as a leading contributor.
Preferred Experience
10–15 years of experience across solution architecture, solution scoping and design, application project implementation and cloud infrastructure.
5+ years of hands‑on experience in Enterprise Business Applications (ERP, CRM, Data and analytics, AI), ideally with Oracle Fusion.
Experience leading systems architecture engagement with senior business and engineering stakeholders to define roadmaps, ratify solution design and validate delivery plans.
Practical hands‑on solutioning and problem solving with a drive for results while maintaining attention to detail.
Positive and innovative attitude around design and delivery of solutions to internal customers and executives.
Practical experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF and underlying architecture tooling.
Ability to break down complex problems to determine appropriate assessments and recommendations.
Ability to develop strong internal relationships and mentor others.
Undergraduate or higher‑level degree(s) holder or equivalent work experience.
Background in high‑tech, software sectors.
Oracle Cloud certifications on Fusion, Data, Infrastructure and AI are very beneficial.
Excellent written and verbal communication, including the ability to communicate with technical and non‑technical staff at all levels.

Qualifications
Minimum 10–15 years of experience in solution architecture, solution scoping and design, application project implementation and cloud infrastructure.
At least 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Business Applications, ideally with Oracle Fusion.
Experience leading systems architecture engagement with senior business and engineering stakeholders.
Strong practical hands‑on solutioning and problem solving.
Practical experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
Undergraduate or higher‑level degree(s) holder or equivalent work experience.
