The Enterprise Solution Architect (ESA) team is responsible for aligning technology investments with business objectives, driving the overall delivery roadmap, and ensuring OAL delivers measurable business value. The role requires a holistic approach across the enterprise and involves close collaboration with Senior Executives, Product Management, Engineering, and business stakeholders. The team bridges the gap between business strategy and technical execution, ensuring every solution delivers value and positions the organization for growth and innovation. The team is pivoted towards supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure growth and will focus across all lines of business. Scope of Role

Scope of Role

The OAL Solution Architect owns solution architecture engagement for a set of prioritized business initiatives. The person will leverage deep expertise in business process, business applications (specifically Fusion) and cloud infrastructure to develop solution architectures that determine scope, size, effort and outcomes. The role reports to the Enterprise Solution Architect leader within the OAL Product and Portfolio Center of Excellence. This role offers: Strategic Influence: Align technology investments with company-wide objectives, shaping systems that support Oracle Cloud Infrastructure growth. Executive Visibility: Develop and present solution roadmaps, architectures, and delivery milestones to senior executives. Cross-Functional Impact: Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and business functions to translate strategic initiatives into robust technical solutions leveraging AI and OCI native technologies. Business-critical solution design: Define and guide high-priority, enterprise-wide architectural initiatives to deliver measurable business value and operational efficiency, including AI/ML opportunities. Professional Growth: Work with other architects, provide direction, mentoring, and influence best practices. Preferred Experience

Minimum 10-15 years in total across solution architecture, scoping and design, applications project implementation and cloud infrastructure. At least 5+ years hands-on experience in Enterprise Business Applications (ERP, CRM, Data and analytics, AI), ideally with Oracle Fusion. Experience leading system architecture engagements with senior business and engineering stakeholders to define roadmaps, ratify solution design and validate delivery plans. Practical hands-on solutioning with drive for results and attention to detail. Ability to articulate solution strategy to internal customers and executives. Experience with TOGAF or similar architecture frameworks. Ability to decompose complex problems and provide clear assessments and recommendations. Strong internal relationship-building, mentoring, and leadership capabilities. Undergraduate or equivalent degree or experience; background in high-tech/software sectors. Oracle Cloud certifications in Fusion, Data, Infrastructure and AI are beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical staff at all levels. As a member of the product development division, specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general with QA and porting teams. Qualifications
