Job Summary Administer the risk finance aspects of the Corporate Insurance department, including any reporting, trending analytics, budgeting, accounting and the Risk Management Information System (RMIS). This role also supports the management of insurance policies, analyzes risk exposures, and assists with insurance renewals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate monthly and quarterly internal report delivery. Perform trending, analysis, and benchmarking in collaboration with the Global Support Center (GSC) team, actuaries, insurance brokers, and internal departments.
Maintain and present monthly predictive analytics; produce periodic risk metric communications.
Manage invoice processing and tracking. Oversee ledger entries and reconciliation, ensuring timely and accurate monthly results.
Prepare quarterly loss and exposure data for actuaries and risk/industry benchmarking. Audit and review data collection.
Reconcile quarterly actuarial results with ledger balances.
Respond to data requests and inquiries from internal and external auditors.
Manage the third‑party provider that administers the collection and verification of Certificates of Insurance (COIs) for franchising, wholesale, and the BCP program for compliance. Oversee monthly store changes.
Coordinate the Surety Program.
Lead technical projects as needed, including Power BI dashboards.
Support the insurance renewal process, including data collection, creating underwriting submissions, and broker coordination.
Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Treasury, Operations, and other departments on risk‑related initiatives and special projects.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting for insurance premiums and claims costs.
Education and Experience
Education: Bachelor’s / 4‑Year Degree
Years of relevant work experience: 3+ years
Specific Knowledge and Skills:
Proficient in Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Strong ability to manage and multitask across multiple projects.
Experience in analytics and accounting systems (Oracle preferred), including generating and balancing ledger accounts.
Prior experience in Commercial Insurance and Risk Management industry is preferred.
Experience coordinating renewal applications and gathering exposure data.
