Sr. Project Manager, Business Applications (UKG Pro WFM)
Base pay range: $70.00/hr - $90.00/hr
Summary The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) leads complex enterprise projects with UKG Pro WFM (timekeeping and scheduling). The role oversees initiatives from kickoff to go‑live, manages system integrators, 3rd‑party vendors, cross‑functional IT and operational teams, and ensures delivery on scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Responsibilities
Analyze, plan, execute, and closeout programs and projects assigned by the Director, PMO or designee.
Oversee complex projects involving healthcare processes, clinical applications, business/administrative applications, technology, and infrastructure.
Define and baselining project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations using charters, scope statements, WBS, and SOWs.
Execute projects, course‑correct in flight, and complete projects within scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
Lead cross‑functional teams, influence through collaboration, and directly supervise other employees.
Manage contract and vendor labor, coordinate integrations between multiple IS systems, and oversee data integrations.
Communicate project status to executive‑level personnel, present at steering committees, and provide action items.
Support PMO processes, methodologies, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information System, Information Technology, or related technical field (Master’s preferred).
Minimum 5 years of project management experience leading IT projects, including project initiation through closeout.
Experience all phases of project management across a variety of project types (construction, research, infrastructure, clinical applications, business applications, products).
Proficiency in project planning, risk/issue management, governance, cost/benefit analysis, and change controls.
Complex project implementations with cross‑functional teams, vendor management, and executive‑level steering presentations.
Experience with Timekeeping/Scheduling implementation projects and integration of multiple IS systems in healthcare.
Budget management of project financials from start to finish, including purchase order and invoice management.
Prior experience with any of the following applications: Kronos, Lawson, Cerner (preferred).
10 years of total post‑collegiate relevant professional experience (preferred).
Preferred
Program or project management experience in delivering business applications (HR systems, financial systems, marketing systems).
Experience with ERP projects within Healthcare Systems.
RFI and RFP vendor evaluations and selections.
Big 4 consulting experience.
Experience developing business cases and working in a centralized PMO environment.
Performance improvement experience in process, workflow modeling, and root cause analysis.
