API Developer

Contract
job with a client in
Minneapolis, MN / Charlotte, NC / Irving, TX . The ideal candidate must have
experience
and strong expertise in
API design, cloud computing, and Azure migration .
Rate Range $46.52/hour to $51.52/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Responsibilities
Implement and deploy API solutions with a focus on cloud computing and scalable architecture.
Design, build, and maintain end-to-end features in the business banking platform.
Ensure technical designs are robust, maintainable, and testable with clear documentation.
Contribute to the architecture of a complex online banking platform.
Lead migration of microapps to the Azure cloud platform.
Make design and coding decisions with customer experience as a priority.
Apply feedback from code reviews and ensure compliance with development standards.
Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on engineering best practices.
Ensure all aspects of development follow compliance and security protocols.
Desired Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in API development and cloud platforms.
Hands‑on experience with Azure cloud services.
Strong understanding of microservices architecture and event‑driven systems.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work in Agile environments and lead technical initiatives.

Pay Details Pay Details:
$46.52 to $51.52 per hour
