Psychology Responsibilities
Coordinate with the technology company to build out tools for new capabilities. Collect, enter, and manage data, including ongoing contact with provider companies. Communicate with providers across Virginia. Prepare and distribute reports. Travel (reimbursable) within Virginia to present findings to partners, as needed. The position requires strong technical and database skills, attention to detail, teamwork orientation, commitment to timely completion, and the ability to communicate data-based findings to a broad audience. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, or behavioral health related field, or equivalent experience. Strong data analytics and data management skills. Strong organizational skills and fastidious attention to detail. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Openness and willingness to engage in team discussions related to social justice. Demonstrated ability to work in and foster an environment of respect, professionalism and civility with a population of faculty, staff, and students from all backgrounds and experiences, or a commitment to do so as a staff member at VCU.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or higher in social work, psychology, or behavioral health related field, or equivalent experience. Certification in project management. Learning related to implementation science within medical or behavioral health services. Familiarity with ReTool and/or other relational database tools. Interest and appreciation for innovative online tools and digital workspaces (e.g., Slack, Hive). Knowledge of and/or experience with evidence-based treatment programs. Experience managing high-volume communication and follow-up.
