Position Summary
– This role describes responsibilities across team collaboration, expert knowledge in safety/compliance and tires, tech-enabled service delivery, and brand stewardship within the Walmart/Sam's Club environment. What you’ll do
– Work as a team member to fulfill sales and service requests; educate associates on tools, tasks, resources, and mentor new technicians; communicate and develop interpersonal skills for safe and efficient customer service. Demonstrate knowledge of safety and compliance protocols, tire and battery industry guidelines, service standards, equipment operations, TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems), product specifications and seasonality; demonstrate knowledge of Point of Sale systems, phone and in-person selling techniques. Leverage digital tools to plan for and drive sales, improve the service experience, and elevate associate engagement using handheld technology and systems to make immediate business decisions related to services, safety alerts, product information, and training. Communicate equipment, tools, and supplies needs; track and monitor returns and special orders; operate cash registers; process transactions; maintain accurate inventory, audit, safety and compliance standards; report complaints, safety hazards, and issues with products, services, and work areas; complete paperwork/logs and documentation; ensure merchandise is packaged, labeled, and stored per company policies; assist members with purchasing decisions and resolve issues and concerns. Be a Talent Ambassador by valuing the member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, and developing/ inspiring others to work in a respectful, supportive, team-oriented style; understand roadblocks and assist in training team members. Comply with company policies, procedures, and ethics using the Open Door Policy and applying them to business processes. Complete work assignments by using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to identify priorities and deadlines; communicate progress and opportunities for improvement; adapt to change and feedback. – Walmart/Sam’s Club offers competitive pay, performance-based bonuses, and benefits including health, retirement, time off, and other programs. The hourly wage range for this position is $21.00 to $28.00; actual rate corresponds to minimum wage requirements and may include additional premiums based on schedule, facility, season, or work performed.
