About the Role The role is a strategic and hands‑on finance leader to build and lead our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) and Field Finance functions. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will drive financial planning, forecasting, and performance management across the business while building deep partnerships with restaurant operations and cross‑functional leaders. The ideal candidate brings a combination of analytical rigor, operational intuition, and the ability to scale finance processes and talent in a high‑growth, hospitality‑focused environment. The leader is also responsible for improving restaurant margins and partnering closely with the Controller to ensure accurate and timely reporting to make key business decisions.
Responsibilities
Own the company‑wide financial planning process, including annual budgeting, long‑range planning, and monthly forecasting
Lead financial modeling, scenario planning, and ad hoc analysis to support strategic decisions (e.g., new unit development, pricing, labor optimization)
Prepare executive‑level financial materials, board decks, and performance insights in partnership with the CFO
Partner cross‑functionally with Ops, Supply Chain, and IT to support initiatives with financial analysis and guidance. Develop financial KPIs and dashboards
Drive unit‑level P&L ownership by translating financial insights into actionable guidance at the store level
Support labor planning, food cost optimization, and productivity initiatives through deep field collaboration
Champion financial literacy across the organization through tools, training, and simplified reporting
Implement scalable planning tools and systems that support a growing, multi‑location business
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
8–12 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or strategy
Proven experience partnering with field operators and driving unit‑level performance
Exceptional financial modeling, storytelling, and communication skills
Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence senior executives and field leaders
Ability to partner cross‑functionally with operations, Control, and technology teams
Highly proficient in Excel and BI tools; planning systems a plus
Preferred Requirements
MBA or CPA certification
Experience in restaurant, multi‑unit retail, or food manufacturing
Essential Functions
Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods and participate in meetings with various stakeholders.
Special Requirements
Occasional travel may be required.
