About the Role The Manager, Treasury Accounting provides strategic oversight of treasury operations, fixed asset management, lease accounting, unclaimed property compliance, balance sheet accuracy, and related reporting within the Controllership function. This role ensures the integrity of key accounting processes and alignment with US GAAP, supporting the company's broader financial and operational objectives.

Leading a Sr. Accountant, the Manager collaborates closely with Tax, Technology, Finance, and senior leadership to drive accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. The ideal candidate is a motivated, solutions‑oriented professional with strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines. This role offers the opportunity to lead process improvements and contribute meaningfully to a dynamic, growth‑oriented hospitality organization.

Responsibilities

Treasury Operations:

Manage cash flow, investments, capital contributions, dividend distributions, and loan administration to optimize liquidity and support overall financial strategy. Manage cash flow monitoring and reporting. Oversee the administration of the unclaimed property process and ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Team Leadership / Technical accounting:

Supervise an accounting professional and collaborate with the Tax Principal on specialized tasks and initiatives; perform research and provide guidance on accounting transactions. Partner with Tax, Human Resources, Technology, and Finance teams, as well as senior leadership, to ensure financial statements meet US GAAP standards and internal policies.

Fixed Assets Management:

Oversee the Fixed Assets subledger, ensuring compliance with company policies and US GAAP; monitor depreciation expense and maintain accurate records of capital assets.

Balance Sheet Integrity:

Partner with others to ensure timely and accurate completion of all balance sheet account reconciliations; prepare and analyze balance sheet fluctuations to identify and resolve variances. Drive continuous improvement by leading ad hoc reporting, supporting audits, and implementing process enhancements that strengthen financial accuracy and operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies and US GAAP.

Lease Accounting:

Ensure compliance with ASC 842 and monitor/implement the proper accounting for all Company operating leases.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting and minimum of 5 years of accounting experience

Ability to lead a team and succeed in a team environment

Experience with Sage Intacct, QuickBooks or other ERP applications

Ability to prioritize workload and escape conflicting priorities

Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills

Effective communication skills (written & verbal) – can concisely synthesize financial information to executive leadership

Intermediate Excel knowledge with ability to analyze large sets of data using pivot and lookup tables

Preferred Requirements

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Experience with multi‑unit and intercompany transactions

Understanding of restaurant accounting principles, such as inventory management and cost of goods sold (COGS)

Preferred industries: restaurant, warehouse, & manufacturing
