Job Summary The

Scheduling Analyst (Crude)

supports crude trading and supply operations by verifying transactional accuracy, monitoring inventory movements, and resolving discrepancies across multiple systems and stakeholders. The position requires in-depth knowledge of

SAP S4 , strong analytical capabilities, and close collaboration with

traders, schedulers, and accounting teams

to ensure accuracy in crude scheduling, inventory reporting, and reconciliation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and verify all

crude trading and supply transactions

in SAP S4 for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

Run and analyze

inventory build/draw reports

throughout the month.

Collaborate with

offshore managed service providers , schedulers, and traders to ensure positions and trades are correctly reflected in ERP records.

Review and resolve

Discrepancy Error Workbench (DEW)

requests escalated from Crude or Volumetric Accounting.

Serve as backup reviewer for

DEW

when schedulers are unavailable.

Partner with

Trade Support

to troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies and unintended ERP outcomes.

Prepare

reconciliation summaries and management reports .

Identify and communicate recurring data or process issues impacting inventory accuracy.

Support

month-end close

activities by resolving discrepancies under tight deadlines.

Recommend and implement

process improvements

to scheduling efficiency and data integrity.

Required Qualifications

Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

5-10 years of experience

in an accounting or finance role.

Proficiency with

Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook .

Preferred Qualifications

Hands‑on experience generating

financial and inventory reports in SAP S4 .

2+ years as a scheduler

within the oil and gas industry.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.

Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple departmental demands.

Self‑motivated, team‑oriented professional with a

customer service mindset .

Comfortable working in a

fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment .

Required Skills

ERP systems (SAP S4) proficiency.

Crude trading and supply chain understanding.

Financial reconciliation and variance analysis.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of oil and gas accounting processes.

Experience with discrepancy resolution workflows.

Process improvement and reporting automation experience.

Additional Skills

Familiarity with Discrepancy Error Workbench (DEW).

Collaboration across accounting, scheduling, and trade support teams.

Strong documentation and report‑preparation skills.
