We are looking for a Solar Technician II to maintain, test, and troubleshoot AC and DC circuits at solar PV power plants. The position involves: Testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and replacing solar PV plant electrical equipment. Gaining technical information from electrical schematics, vendor data, and applicable codes. Performing current and voltage readings as necessary. Understanding reliability‑based maintenance philosophies and working toward certifications such as CMRT and CMRP. Performing plant‑related preventative, reactive, and predictive maintenance scheduled by the Site Manager and/or Lead Technician. Who You Are
Ability to use electrical test equipment such as DMM, megger, multi‑process calibration equipment. Strong knowledge of electrical theory and troubleshooting techniques. Operational power plant experience is a plus. Willingness to work overtime when required. What You’ve Accomplished
Associate’s degree or equivalent desired. 0‑3 years of related experience desired. TX Electricians License (preferred). Availability for daily regional travel to job sites as needed. A valid driver’s license operable in all 50 states and Canada with a clean driving record. PPE use is required in accordance with EGPNA, NFPA, or OSHA guidelines. Diversity, Equity & Inclusion
