LaSalle Network is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization in the North Western suburbs of Chicago to identify a Human Resources Generalist to join their team. This role is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and enjoys being a trusted resource for both employees and managers.
As a Human Resources Generalist, you’ll play a vital role in supporting HR operations, employee relations, and compliance. You’ll act as the go-to contact for HR questions, ensuring a positive employee experience and smooth HR processes across the organization.
Human Resources Generalist Responsibilities Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and HR support Manage employee relations issues and investigations confidentially Support recruitment, onboarding, and new-hire integration Administer benefits, open enrollment, and leave programs Ensure compliance with state and federal labor laws Partner with managers to support performance management and employee development Maintain HRIS accuracy and generate reports for leadership Participate in HR projects and culture-building initiatives
Human Resources Generalist Requirements Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
