Process Equipment and Controls (PEC) is seeking a highly skilled Millwright to support daily operations at a manufacturing facility located in
Harwell, GA . This position will be responsible for performing mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and executing high-quality TIG welding repairs and fabrication as needed. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a production environment where uptime and safe work practices are critical. This is a facility-based role with minimal travel, working closely with plant operations and PEC’s maintenance support team.

Base pay range $25.00/hr – $33.00/hr
Responsibilities & Duties
Perform TIG welding confidently and proficiently; MIG and stick welding a plus.
Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install industrial machinery and mechanical systems.
Inspect, diagnose, and repair pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, valves, bearings, motors, and related equipment.
Perform precision alignment, equipment leveling, and installation of rotating equipment.
Fabricate and modify machine components, brackets, and fixtures as needed.
Follow logical, step-by-step procedures to identify root causes and repair equipment efficiently.
Read and interpret blueprints, mechanical diagrams, and equipment manuals.
Communicate and collaborate with plant personnel and PEC leadership to maintain safe and efficient operations.
Maintain high safety standards and utilize PPE consistently.
Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and the ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team.
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years Millwright or Industrial Maintenance experience required.
Proficient TIG welding ability is required (stainless and carbon steel).
Strong mechanical aptitude, including knowledge of industrial assembly and repair techniques.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and mechanical schematics.
Must be physically able to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work overtime as needed to support production needs.
Must maintain compliance with 100% Drug‑Free Workplace requirements.
