๐ Location : Onsite โ Queens, NY (3 days Bayside / 2 days Rego Park)
๐ Schedule : MondayโFriday | 9 : 00 AM โ 5 : 00 PM
Our client, a leading residential property management company, is seeking a Temporary Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to provide support across two Queens office locations while they conduct a permanent search. This assignment is expected to last 6โ8 weeks , with the potential to extend based on business needs.
About the Role
This position offers a mix of administrative, reception, and client service responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be personable, organized, and confident in interacting with both residents and building staff in a professional setting. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to supporting daily office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist residents and visitors in person with professionalism and warmth.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to appropriate contacts.
- Provide general administrative support, including filing, data entry, and document organization.
- Liaise with building staff and management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and other office support tasks as assigned.
- Maintain a tidy and welcoming front desk and office environment.
Qualifications & Skills
- 1โ2 years of administrative or reception experience, ideally in a client-facing role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Professional and polished demeanor when interacting with residents, staff, and vendors.
- Reliable, organized, and adaptable across multiple office environments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
Hiring Process & Timeline
This role will include a single virtual interview with the hiring managers. The selected candidate will begin as soon as possible, supporting both the Bayside and Rego Park offices.
