Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and guidance to the software engineers within the IT Applications Development team.

Define the key priorities in pursuit of the vision and goals associated with the Software Engineering practice.

Ensure Software Engineering staff follow best practices throughout the system development lifecycle.

Lead and manage personnel actions: hiring, performance management, termination.

Drive improvements of the software lifecycle, increasing quality of requirements.

Manage the shared-service Software Engineering staff across multiple projects.

Ensure tools, skills, and training support project needs.
