Position Details Position:
Territory Manager, Southwest Region
Location:
Remotely based in Los Angeles, CA., San Diego, CA., or San Francisco, CA.
Job Type:
Full-time (up to 50% travel is required)
Position Overview:
Promote the Avidity Science portfolio to existing and new vivarium customers. The current Biomedical product portfolio consists of Edstrom® Automated Watering Systems, Hydropac®, BMDS™ , Watchdog EX® and Preventative Maintenance Contracts. This role consists of up to 50% travel to visit customers within the territory, industry-related meetings and tradeshows. The base salary for this role is typically $90,000-$100,000 (not including commission).
Key Job Responsibilities
Introduce Avidity Science's portfolio of products/ service to new customers
Leverage relationships with Regional Project Managers and Avidity Science executives
Drive revenue growth and close opportunities by matching Avidity Science solutions to customers' needs
Identify opportunities to develop a total solution, not just product sales
Manage sales cycles of varying lengths with customers through receipt of purchase order, training and beyond
Strategically manage on-going relationships through account planning
Develop a detailed account plan including customer overview, business objectives, strategies and competitive solution.
Territory management (California, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Hawaii and Alaska)
What You Bring To The Table
5 years of experience in a vivarium facility and experience with progressive selling
In-depth Industry Knowledge
Ability to identify and improve sales processes
Ability to apply and articulate a customer value proposition for Avidity Science solutions
Experience to interface with customers and contractors
