Job Description Summary:

Under general direction with a high level of autonomy, the banker will cover relationship channels from relationship management, education, and transaction origination perspective, including Raymond James’ proprietary wealth advisor channel, private equity firms, law firms, accounting firms, and boutique investment banking partners.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Execute strategic business development plans in partnership with leadership.

Manage client and prospect relationships aligned with business objectives.

Prepare, develop, and present pitch and marketing materials.

Assist in managing the team’s CRM system for deal tracking and origination timelines.

Execute client, prospect, and professional events to generate new business.

Apply financial analysis and business experience to generate client leads and advise on strategic options.

Communicate clearly to guide decision makers.

Convey genuine interest and understanding of clients’ businesses and industries.

Bring together the appropriate RJIB team to provide exceptional service.

Resolve professional, technical, or client service problems promptly.

Produce factual and accurate information for presentations.

Review progress with senior team members.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, or finance.

Minimum two (2) to five (5) years of experience in the financial services industry, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses and Certifications:

Registered to take the SIE exam, or exemption applied.

FINRA Series 7 or 79 license required within six (6) months of hire.

FINRA Series 63 license or ability to obtain within six (6) months of hire.

Other Requirements:

Travel up to 20% of the time.

Availability to attend events and meetings in‑person when required.
