Requirements

12+ years of experience in technical project management with exposure to both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

Hands‑on experience with Azure DevOps for project tracking and delivery.

Strong background in data programs/projects, including Databricks or similar big data platforms.

Experience in healthcare payer domain (claims, eligibility, provider data, etc.).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Expertise in managing and delivering projects in a mixed methodology environment with cross‑functional resources.

Familiarity with data governance, compliance, and security standards in healthcare.

Overview A healthcare payor client is hiring for a Technical Project Manager with strong expertise in delivering data centric programs/projects leveraging Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies. This person will drive Agile Delivery by utilizing Azure DevOps for backlog management and tracking deliverables. They will also lead Waterfall delivery for required projects, by developing detailed project plans that adhere to approved scope, schedule and budget. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in executing data‑centric programs/projects (preferably leveraging Databricks) and experience in the healthcare payer domain. This role requires flexibility to manage hybrid delivery models and ensure successful outcomes across complex data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage technical projects using Agile Scrum frameworks.

Utilize Azure DevOps for backlog management, sprint planning, and tracking deliverables.

Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations for projects executed in Waterfall methodology.

Track milestones, dependencies, and deliverables, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.

Drive execution of data engineering and analytics programs, including projects built on Databricks and related technologies.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including data engineers, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders.

Ensure adherence to healthcare payer compliance standards and data governance policies.

Identify risks, manage dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies.

Prepare and present project status reports, metrics, and dashboards to leadership and stakeholders.

Facilitate effective communication across technical and business teams.

Foster process optimization and best practices for both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.

Compensation $60/hr to $65/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
