Job Description This key position conducts special project assignments and provides administrative support to the assigned division. Responsible for providing administrative support to the Division Manager/Director and conducting assignments to enhance and improve division operations. Research, analysis, and evaluation of programs, projects, and operational procedures are performed as part of this classification.

Work is performed with considerable independence under the supervision of an assigned Supervisor or Manager. Performance is reviewed through observations, reports and results achieved.

Representative Duties/Assignments

Gathers, analyzes, and evaluates data on division programs, projects, and operational procedures to identify areas for improvement and increased efficiency.

Plans, executes, and monitors special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.

Provides comprehensive administrative assistance to the Division Manager/Director, including scheduling, preparing reports, and handling correspondence.

Develops and presents recommendations based on research and analysis to enhance division operations and achieve organizational goals.

Coordinates and monitors contracts, grants, and community-based service agreements funded by the Citizens’ Commission for Children.

Assists with program planning, development, and evaluation activities to ensure services align with the CCCs strategic priorities and outcomes for children and families.

Collects, verifies, and analyzes performance data submitted by funded agencies; prepares summary reports and recommendations for management review and Commission presentation.

Collaborates with internal departments, community organizations, and partner agencies to promote coordination of services and avoid duplication of resources.

Coordinates community outreach, engagement, and educational events to raise awareness of CCC programs and available resources.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of community needs, child and family well-being indicators, and trends affecting social services delivery.

Responds to inquiries from funded partners, Commissioners, County staff, and the public regarding CCC programs and initiatives.

Performs other related duties as assigned.

Liaises with internal and external stakeholders to coordinate division activities, address inquiries, and maintain effective communication channels.

Prepares detailed reports, summaries, and presentations on project progress, findings, and outcomes for review by the Division Manager/Director and other relevant personnel.

Researches Commissioners and public inquiries and respond accordingly. May act as the point of contact for Public Information Request and/or county agencies. Compiles responses to Public Information Requests and/or discovery requests.

Minimum Qualifications

Possess and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Social Services, Business Administration, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience in social work, business administration, or closely related field. In lieu of the degree requirements, additional relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
