Job Summary
The Program Manager reports to the Executive Director and manages daily business operations essential to the Center’s mission. The role serves as the primary front‑line community engagement contact, works with the Executive and Research Directors to develop, execute, and maintain Center programs, manages event logistics, prepares and reports budgets, processes financial documents, and supervises graduate assistants.
Responsibilities
Serve as the campus director under the Blackstone Launch Pad agreement until the grant terminates.
Develop and execute a strategic plan for the BLP Program on campus.
Adhere to BLP brand guidelines.
Build relationships with campus entrepreneurship resources (professors, student clubs, incubators/accelerators, competitions, etc.).
Communicate with students via newsletter or other channels to promote campus and BLP network programming.
Complete semi‑annual reports to the Foundation.
Nominates and supports appropriate students for BLP signature events, programs and showcase opportunities.
Represent the Center on various committees and groups with university departments, programs, government officials, and the community.
Maintain daily operations and manage Center programs and activities.
Work with community partners, external advisory groups, and internal units to meet Center goals.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
3‑5 years of experience in budget management, office operations management, and event implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree.
1‑3 years of supervisory experience.
Experience in higher education.
Proficiency in software such as StartUp Tree and Workday.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary range: $58,000 – $63,000. Benefits include:
