Senior Theatre Practitioner - Scrub Nurse at Brentwood Hospital. Nursing role; Permanent; Full Time. Up to £42,500.00 per annum, dependent on experience. 37.5 hours per week. Responsibilities
Work on a varied caseload using technology, equipment and facilities which are state-of-the-art Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team Deliver high quality care and experiences for patients, which is clinically effective, evidence based and appropriate Be trained as a Surgical First Assistant or undertake the training with Nuffield Health Experience in completing clinical audits where appropriate – full training will be provided The Person
High levels of focus and engagement A passion for high standards and a meticulous eye for detail Excellent communication skills and strong team-working abilities; flexible and motivated Promote evidence-based practice within own scope of practice Able to engage with colleagues at all levels across the hospital and contribute to hospital goals within a multidisciplinary team About us

As a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at Brentwood Hospital, you are registered with the appropriate governing body and hold the relevant qualifications and experience, including HCPC registration. You bring a passion for high standards in perioperative care, a meticulous eye for detail and post-registration experience. You are a focused, flexible and motivated team worker. As a Senior Scrub Practitioner you will implement the following: Work on a varied caseload using state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities Supervise, support and develop junior team members Deliver high quality, clinically effective and evidence-based patient care Be trained as a Surgical First Assistant or undertake training with Nuffield Health Complete clinical audits with full training provided Qualifications & Experience
HCPC registration and appropriate governing body qualifications for a Senior Theatre Practitioner (ODP) Post-registration perioperative care experience and a meticulous eye for detail Strong teamwork, communication skills and drive to contribute to hospital goals within a multidisciplinary setting Disclosure
