About the role The

Production Supervisor

is responsible and accountable for the smooth running of the assigned shift, technology, and line manufacturing operations. This is a floating/relief supervisor position – the candidate must be open to working all shifts to cover PTO as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations of the manufacturing floor, ensuring that production targets are met.

Involved in the plant’s schedule planning activities, including raw material, boom and non-boom packaging requirements, sequencing review and sign-off.

Responsible for people availability in the resource scheduling process.

Accountable for line start‑up, including health & safety checks, raw material and packaging checks, environment audits, and completion of paperwork in the pre‑production checklist.

Consult on BOM production processes, raw material and packaging collection, compliance checks, and sequencing confirmation.

Accountable for quality control checks, critical control point checks, and traceability documentation in the in‑flight quality check process.

Play an integral part within line/area performance management and lead production efficiency reviews.

Participate in daily huddles and production completion processes including SAP order completion.

Accountable for production run quality and quantity review, put‑away processes, yield, waste, performance, and CIP review.

Oversee training and development plans, performance management, disciplinary actions, and absence management.

Understand overtime requirements and apply for overtime as necessary.

Manage shift breaks and changeovers.

Consult on work permit processes and audit de‑brief procedures.

Investigate non‑standard issues such as complaints, health & safety incidents, bottleneck analysis, and Intelex investigations.

Communicate escalated issues daily and place one‑off purchase orders on COUPA.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree required.

Minimum five years of experience in a similar role within manufacturing.

Experience in food manufacturing is highly preferred.

Authentic leadership with credibility among senior stakeholders.

Ability to influence and coach leaders across the organization.

Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills.

Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Experience building and developing high‑performing teams.

Project management experience with practical knowledge of tools and techniques.

Financial and business acumen, able to translate operational improvements into financial impact.

Compensation & Benefits The annual base salary range for this position is $64,479 – $105,272. Kerry rewards performance with a competitive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with company match, employee share plan, life and disability insurance, accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement. The position is also eligible for performance‑based incentive compensation.
