Technical Assistance Center Analyst
Technical Assistance Center (TAC) Analyst supporting US Marine Corps enterprise data center operations, hybrid cloud and application hosting environments worldwide.
Responsibilities
4 day per week, 10 hour shift supporting data center TAC processes.
Incident, Event, and Request Fulfillment for enterprise data center systems (on‑prem and cloud).
Platform patching, ITSM queue management, bridge management, and call center management.
Triage, troubleshooting, remediation, and service restoration for Windows/Linux servers, networking equipment, databases, virtualization and backup systems.
Shift transition support and knowledge transfer activities.
Data center equipment checks, COP monitoring, and preventative maintenance.
Enterprise Information System‑EIS Tier I support, including SharePoint account management and script/report generation.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of IT experience (high school diploma with 6–8 years considered).
Active DoD Clearance (Secret/Top Secret/SCI) and U.S. citizenship required.
Mid‑level experience in Enterprise/Data Center Service Desk Operations and BMC Remedy or similar ITSM suite.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows Server, SharePoint, RHEL, LAN/WAN networking, proxy, VMware virtualization, NSX, Log Management tools, NetBackup, SQL/Oracle, vSphere, Active Directory, and ACAS.
Specific expertise in ITSM, Incident, Event, Knowledge and Problem Management, customer service, and data center technologies.
