Position Overview:
As an Automotive Technician, you will perform accurate diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles. You’ll work closely with service advisors and other technicians to deliver quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Perform accurate diagnostics using computerized scan tools and traditional methods.
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical systems, HVAC, and other components.
Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
Work efficiently in a dealership service bay environment following manufacturer guidelines.
Document all repairs and maintenance in accordance with service standards.
Communicate clearly with service advisors regarding vehicle status and repair needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain compliance with dealership policies.
Requirements
2+ years of professional automotive repair experience (dealership or high-volume shop preferred).
ASE certification(s) strongly preferred.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with scan tools, diagnostic software, and technical service bulletins.
Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and wiring diagrams.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Dependable, self‑motivated, and committed to high‑quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications
Factory certifications from major manufacturers (Hyundai, Kia, Ford, GM, Toyota, etc.).
Experience working directly in dealership service bays.
Knowledge of warranty repair processes and flat‑rate environments.
