Our Field Service (FSE) organization travels to power plants across the U.S., maintaining and upgrading large electrical generation machinery such as gas turbines, steam turbines and generators. This seasonal program provides entry into a best‑in‑class field service organization. Responsibilities

Complete classroom and lab training in Orlando, then on‑the‑job training at multiple U.S. customer sites. Develop skills in equipment operation, maintenance, job site safety, project management, leadership, and Siemens Energy business systems. After training, supervise technicians on steam turbine generator maintenance during planned and unplanned outages. Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble turbines and generators. Coordinate upgrades of mechanical and electrical systems to improve power output and efficiency. Collaborate with worldwide engineering staff to perform niche mechanical and electrical testing, and serve as primary customer contact during outages, ensuring timely and accurate repairs. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent (5+ years of proven technical leadership in power plant or facilities maintenance and operations preferred; open to new graduates with internship experience). Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in related field preferred. Resolve mechanical problems while working closely with a team and customers to provide outstanding service. Self‑starting leader who enjoys using all resources to build innovative solutions for challenging mechanical issues. Travel up to 250 days per year, with extended deployments of 2–15 weeks at a time; can work 12–14 hours per day, weekends, holidays, 6–7 days per week, typical work week 60–84 hours. Ability to examine equipment in confined spaces, move 40‑pound boxes, work in outdoor weather, walk long distances, and share cramped trailer with others. Legal & EEO
