This full‑time, year‑round, salary‑based position is located in Pompano Beach, Florida and includes a company vehicle, cell phone, tablet, and expense account.
What You’ll Accomplish
Physically inspect roof installations for quality and workmanship.
Issue the roof warranty in accordance with the Duro‑Last specifications.
Make repairs to Duro‑Last roofs.
Conduct on‑site training classes and offer guidance to contractors in proper roof installation.
Provide support to Duro‑Last contractors and sales reps in territory.
Schedule inspections and repairs and prepare warranty reports.
Perform a physically demanding job that requires bending, lifting, pulling, climbing, etc.
Other job duties as assigned.
What We Are Looking For
Two to four years of experience in commercial low‑slope roofing, construction, roof inspection or quality assurance is highly desirable.
Strong motivation, organization, time management, documentation and communication skills (oral and written).
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task and prioritize.
Strong work ethics; punctual, dependable, and trustworthy.
Capability to complete responsibilities and operate equipment following company production, personnel and safety procedures.
Ability to read and comprehend roofing specifications.l>
Professional communication and conflict handling skills.
Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record (MVR).
Willingness to do extensive regional travel.
Computer literacy.
Ability to pass a physical agility test, drug screen and criminal background check.
