Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service to generate sales gains and meet or exceed company objectives.
Document and provide feedback on associate sales performance, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement.
Adhere to visual merchandising guidelines, including proper signage, store cleanliness, and merchandising standards.
Maintain a professional appearance in accordance with the company dress code policy.
Protect company assets by following Lids retail policies, and perform accurate inventory management (receiving, transferring, pricing, counting).
Support wage control by assisting in the preparation of store schedules and ensuring proper coverage.
Open and close the store in accordance with the Operations P&P Manual.
Supervise associates: recruit, train, and encourage compliance with policies; communicate with employees at all levels; perform supervisory duties as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent, plus one year of relative experience.
Demonstrated ability to produce sales results while minimizing loss.
Strong interpersonal skills and clear verbal communication.
Basic computer proficiency.
Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb a ladder, and work with hands overhead.
Standing required for up to 100% of the work time; ability to work unsupervised.
Preferred Qualifications
Assistant Store Managers can earn up to 25% above local minimum wage based on experience; compensation may vary by skill, experience, and location.
Assistant Store Manager part‑time positions available for monthly store sales bonuses and a 40% employee discount.
