Scope Of Position

Develops and executes a product line strategy that supports the achievement of desired new product, Extreme ULE (EULE) sales, growth and profitability for new products and materials.

Develops and executes a product line strategy that supports the achievement of Digital Twin efforts that enable product sales, growth and profitability for EULE and DUV (HPFS) produced materials.

Day To Day Responsibilities

Works to develop value propositions that improve margins for Corning’s EULE products and Digital Twin services and enable new/enhanced selling opportunities with customers.

Manage the introduction of EULE for Photomask, Optics and other ancillary semiconductor product applications, including how Digital Twin is enabled within the value chain.

Manage day‑to‑day demand and supply issues, working toward optimal profitability and customer satisfaction for EULE and Digital Twin.

Support building a profitable business case.

Direct interaction and management of customer product expectations and introduction sampling needs for EULE products and Digital Twin data requirements, cloud access, and GUIs.

Provide guidance on finding the optimal solution to develop the business case for new EULE products related to performance, quality, share growth, and customer needs.

Work with functional leads resolving any and all product needs and issues, including ramp/volume requirements, pricing, performance, overall quality and delivery performance.

Determine the appropriate value proposition and value monetization and capture of Digital Twin efforts.

Provide guidance on monthly forecasting and monitor performance to revenue & profitability plan.

Optimize inventory management in conjunction with the EULE Program, Supply Chain and finance, coordinating information flow between Forecasting, Sales, Manufacturing, and other parties as required.

Contribute and participate in product line and local manufacturing S&OP discussions.

May get involved in supply chain disruption issues to influence decisions on Development/Manufacturing prioritization.

Overall Responsibilities

Develop the strategy and execute on the 4Ps (product, price, placement and promotion) for the respective products in coordination as the Product Line Manager for EULE and Digital Twin.

Develop and execute the product line planning process, including the identification of critical projects for the year focused on EULE products.

Participate in EULE monthly internal technical & business reviews.

Develop different product roadmaps based on capabilities and market demands in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external customers.

Address new product/special requests by developing a business canvas, including financials, to advocate for the creation of a new product family.

Work with Sales to execute a pricing strategy, setting floor pricing, influencing pricing structure, optimizing product premiums, and ensuring value and profitability for the product line.

Create short and long‑term forecasting plans.

Participate in creating an intellectual property and standards strategy for the product family produced with EULE and Digital Twin.

Understand downstream market requirements and assess competitive threats and implications for the business.

Work with Program Management or New Business Development and Sales to approve quotes and receive new products, as appropriate.

Develop a compelling market value proposition that differentiates Corning’s EULE products and services, including Digital Twin for ULE and HPFS products.

Manage a portfolio of markets where EULE products hold differing positions.

Identify the best mix for the market(s) through effective segmentation and portfolio rationalization.

Collaborate with Program, Manufacturing and Sales to find opportunities to reduce complexity and cost reduction in the manufacturing process at Corning’s plant(s) and the customer site.

Manage the obsolescence process to extract maximum value through the product’s lifecycle.

Required Education And Experience

MBA required and BS Degree, preferably in an Engineering or Technical field.

10+ years of experience in manufacturing, engineering and business management or product line management.

Track record of managing projects.

Experience leading multi‑functional teams.

Work experience in a commercial function.

Anticipate up to 25% travel domestic and international.

Desired Experience

Materials Science and Engineering, Applied Science, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Product Line Management experience.

Value proposition development.

Experience leading projects or multidisciplinary programs and teams.

Manufacturing and/or Development knowledge.

Financial analysis and accounting experience.

Work experience in a strategy group.

Salary Range: $177,507.00 – $244,073.00 (full time). Starting pay depends on geographic location, market demands, experience, training and education.
