Resource Innovations is seeking a Talent Acquisition Advisor to join our growing team in Chicago, Salt Lake City, Phoenix, Madison (WI), Pittsburgh, or another Resource Innovations office location. While this role is remote, there is a strong preference for candidates located near one of our offices. As a Talent Acquisition Advisor at Resource Innovations, you will be a trusted recruiting partner responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment for a variety of positions across the organization. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers and HR partners to deliver exceptional candidate experiences, advise on best practices, and ensure that each hire aligns with RI’s mission, culture, and growth goals.

Duties and Responsibilities Recruitment Execution
Manage and execute the full recruitment lifecycle for assigned roles — from intake and sourcing to offer negotiation and pre‑employment onboarding.
Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract top and diverse talent for both technical and professional roles.
Conduct phone and video interviews to assess qualifications, experience, and cultural alignment.
Partner with Talent Acquisition Coordinators to ensure smooth interview scheduling and communications.
Prepare and extend offers, facilitating the negotiation and acceptance process to ensure a positive candidate experience.
Maintain accurate candidate data, notes, and workflow updates in the Applicant Tracking System (Workable).
Business Partnership & Talent Advisory
Serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers, providing insight into talent market trends, sourcing strategies, and hiring best practices.
Participate in recruitment intake meetings to define role requirements, selection criteria, and interview structure.
Collaborate with HR and business leadership to anticipate workforce needs and align recruiting strategies with organizational priorities.
Deliver consistent communication and excellent service to hiring teams and candidates throughout the recruitment process.
Employer Branding & Outreach
Represent Resource Innovations at career fairs, networking events, and industry conferences.
Support initiatives that strengthen RI’s employer brand and highlight the organization’s mission‑driven, inclusive culture.
Leverage social media, employee networks, and professional platforms to enhance visibility and candidate engagement.
Process Improvement & Innovation
Recommend improvements to enhance the efficiency and consistency of recruiting processes.
Stay informed of industry best practices, tools, and technologies that can improve candidate sourcing and engagement.
Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to test and implement new recruiting strategies and systems.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of full cycle recruiting experience, ideally supporting professional and technical roles such as mechanical, electrical, or software engineering positions.
Experience recruiting in consulting, energy efficiency, clean energy, or sustainability sectors preferred.
Strong ability to partner with business leaders and influence through data, insight, and professionalism.
Proven track record sourcing passive candidates through platforms like LinkedIn, professional associations, and networking.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on delivering high‑quality candidate and stakeholder experiences.
Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Workable preferred) and recruiting analytics.
