Job Description The Construction Project Manager will manage construction projects to help ensure on-time and on-budget project goals are met. Includes providing leadership, management, and responsibility for the successful execution of construction projects and budgets. Additionally, this position will directly manage subcontractors. Position will support multi-family residential (from ground up), commercial real estate, and hospitality projects.
Education and Experience
A minimum of five years of construction-based project management field-related experience.
Experience with directly managing subcontractor relationships in major construction trades, for cost-effective management of various projects.
Multi-family, commercial, and hospitality project construction experience is required.
Skills
Proficient and quality technical knowledge of construction methods, means, and procedures.
The ability to inspect and recognize quality work, to quickly identify problems, and to propose and implement solutions in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Site and Building component engineering skills and experience are required.
Computer skills include the use of email, Word, Excel, MS Teams, and MS Project software.
Knowledge and experience with proprietary construction-related software such as Pro Core.
Ability to negotiate agreements and material purchases. Know standard contracting practices and the ability to understand, write, and negotiate standard contract language.
