Overview
University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) – the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center – is recruiting new clinical faculty members in the Department of Medicine, Hematology/Oncology. Positions are available at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level in the Health Sciences Clinical or Clinical X series. Responsibilities
Provide outstanding patient care in outpatient oncology clinics (six half‑days per week) located at UCSF Mission Bay. Participate in multidisciplinary tumor board conferences and work closely with colleagues in other cancer subspecialties. Supervise and teach medical students, residents, and fellows during outpatient clinical rotations. Contribute to the Division’s clinical research program by enrolling patients in ongoing trials and, where appropriate, developing independent research projects. Qualifications
• MD or DO degree, ABIM certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology. • Commitment to patient care and a track record of clinical excellence in the management of solid tumors (general oncology or a subspecialty). • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and mentor trainees. • Commitment to the mission and values of UCSF, including equal opportunity and diversity. Compensation
Minimum base salary range: $127,000–$333,700 per year. Compensation includes health‑sciences benefits and eligibility for additional performance awards. Application Requirements
