Job Description Responsibilities
Ensure supplier products and materials meet HPE’s quality standards and performance goals.
Perform supplier site audits in person or virtually for new products, sites, and suppliers.
Collaborate with Sourcing, Planning, R&D Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations to evaluate supplier performance, support other audits (e.g., Cyber security), and drive continuous improvements.
Manage quality performance of GPU, I/O Adapters, and Storage Controllers at supplier manufacturing sites, HPE RSPs, and customer sites.
Lead project teams of quality engineers and internal/out‑source partners to integrate quality requirements into product development and manufacturing.
Review product and solution designs for potential quality issues, provide feedback, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement improvement solutions.
Provide domain‑specific expertise and overall product engineering leadership to cross‑organization projects.
Drive innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives within the manufacturing organization.
Provide guidance and mentoring to less‑experienced staff members.
Education and Experience
8 + years in supplier quality management.
Lean/Six Sigma expertise (Black Belt or equivalent preferred).
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with engineering tools and software for testing, designing, and evaluating products and processes.
Proficient in empirical analysis, root‑cause analysis, modeling, testing methodologies, and quality standards.
Excellent analytical, statistical, and problem‑solving skills.
Review of material specifications, hardware & electrical component design, manufacturing processes, and industry quality standards.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present quality architectures and negotiate at senior management level.
