Full-Time Assistant Store Manager - Allen Edmonds
Join us to support all store activities, partnering with the Store Manager to manage sales operations, visual merchandising, and team development. Your role will ensure a premium brand experience for every customer.
Base pay range $19.00/hr - $22.00/hr
Allen Edmonds has been hand‑crafting premium men’s footwear and accessories in the U.S. since 1922. We combine a traditional 212‑step manufacturing process with modern retail excellence.
What You’ll Be Doing
Be a Champion for Team Sales Goals : Assist and coach Sales Associates to achieve sustained success and overcome obstacles. Work with the Store Manager to develop action plans for growth.
Help Develop Team’s Selling & Service Mindset : Lead training and skill reinforcement on customer service, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
Uphold Visual Merchandising Standards : Walk the sales floor with the team, using Allen Edmonds visual merchandising guidelines to maintain standards.
Lead Store Outreach Efforts & Events : Spearhead local quarterly events, in‑store experiences, and customer outreach campaigns to increase traffic and sales.
Find Sales Opportunities : Review sales results and KPIs with the Store Manager to identify opportunities for forecasting and business improvement.
Essential Functions : Perform other responsibilities as needed to ensure the business’s success.

Preferred Qualifications & Education
High School Diploma or GED
Retail or store management experience (or equivalent)
Able to build constructive relationships within the store
Demonstrated ability to set goals, organize work, and exceed objectives
Strong leadership, motivation, and communication skills with associates at all levels
Experience coaching, training, and developing associates
Independent judgment in partnership with the Store Sales Manager
Strong analytical and quantitative decision‑making skills
Knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
Assertive influence at all levels and effective teamwork
Flexible to work holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours
Microsoft Office proficiency
Physical Requirements And/or Environment
Lift up to 40 lbs from floor level to above shoulder height using proper equipment and safety techniques
Stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, push, pull, and lift repeatedly
Remain mobile on the sales floor for extended periods
