The Director of Sales will lead HSG Tech, Inc’s solution sales organization to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and foster exemplary customer relationships within the industrial machinery sector. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans aligned with company objectives, overseeing a team of solutions-focused regional sales managers, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer value through technical and commercial excellence. Primary Responsibilities

Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue, margin, and growth objectives across product lines and market segments Collaborate with executive leadership on long-term planning, pricing strategy, and go-to-market initiatives Lead forecasting, pipeline management, and market analysis to support accurate sales planning and decision making Partner with Marketing and Product Management to align sales strategies with market needs and new product launches Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing sales team, including regional sales, inside sales, and business development staff. Oversee development and execution of annual sales budgets, forecasts, and incentive programs Secondary Responsibilities

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the sales organization. Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decisions. Train sales representatives in solution selling and relationship-building as a strategic expectation and catalyst for financial performance. Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Industrial Technology (MBA Preferred, Combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of degree). 10+ years’ experience with progressive sales experience in Sheet Metal Fabrication Equipment, including 5+ years in a leadership role. Must have working knowledge of lasers, press brakes, and related solutions (automation, software, etc.) Proven success in developing sales strategies and leading teams to exceed revenue targets. Strong understanding of capital equipment sales, B2B customer relationships, and industrial distribution networks. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required. Demonstrated ability to analyze data, forecast demand, and make data-driven decisions. Technical familiarity with mechanical systems, automation, or process equipment. This role is based at the Addison facility and may be remote as required, with at least 50% travel to other locations and customer accounts.
