Summary The Family Law Attorney will have at least two (2) to three (3) years of experience as a Family Law Attorney with experience supporting Senior Attorneys and Partners in family law practice areas including dissolutions, relationship agreements, custody/visitation issues, support disputes, and property division. The Family Law Attorney should have strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, excellent research and writing skills, and experience in drafting settlement proposals, pleadings, discovery requests, requests for order, and trial briefs. Experience attending court hearings or trials preferred, but not required. This is a very fast-paced environment, and the Family Law Attorney must be able to multitask and manage a voluminous caseload. This role requires a self-starter who is willing and open to learning new skills as well as taking initiative and being proactive. This position requires a minimum of three (3) days per week working in the office.

Education and Experience
Juris Doctorate
Active Member of the State Bar of California
Prior experience managing client communications and expectations
Experience with LexisNexis or Westlaw, XSpouse, Lawyaw (Clio Draft), and law firm client management software preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Proficient in MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Word, Excel and Outlook
Solid command of English including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style.
Organized and detail oriented
Ability to work independently and on a team
Proficiency in California Family Code, California Rules of Court, local rules
Ability to communicate clearly
Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, dependability and self-motivated
