Burnett Therapeutic Services is seeking a qualified BCBA to join our team.
Pay Range Base salary: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year. Sign‑on bonus available.
Job Type and Location Full‑time, hybrid/in‑person. Hiring in Napa, Solano, Sonoma, and Sacramento counties.
Summary The BCBA will serve as a Qualified Autism Service Professional, providing clinical supervision and oversight of programs implemented by supervisors, BCaBAs, and behavior interventionists. Responsibilities include delivering behavioral health treatment, developing and implementing treatment plans under the Clinical Director’s guidance, and providing services for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, or other delays.
Essential Job Functions / Key Performance Areas
Design, develop, and implement ABA programs for individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, and/or delays.
Collaborate with families and other professionals to tailor ABA programs to each client’s specific needs.
Deliver individual and group learning experiences to help clients meet their treatment goals.
Train and supervise mid‑level supervisors/BCaBAs and direct care staff (Behavior Interventionists).
Conduct assessments, write treatment goals, analyze data, and prepare progress reports.
Perform Functional Behavior Assessments using tools such as VB‑MAPP, ABBLS‑R, Vineland‑III, etc.
Develop and oversee behavioral plans for children.
Assist in developing adaptive skills for positive roles in school, home, and community settings.
Provide behavioral consultation to families and/or schools.
Supervise ABA programs to teach skills related to daily routines, stress coping, play, social interactions, functional communication, task attendance, safety awareness, and self‑help.
Empower parents, caregivers, and support staff to influence clients in natural routines for greater independence.
Maintain supportive relationships with clients, families, and staff.
Define target behaviors, write treatment goals, and coordinate evidence‑based programs, reinforcement, antecedent management, protocols, and interventions.
Model and train support staff on intervention strategies and protocols.
Set up and maintain ABA session schedules, managing adjustments or cancellations.
Meet with families/caregivers weekly (in‑clinic or via telehealth) to review progress and effectiveness of intervention strategies.
Requirements
Availability to work a consistent weekly schedule, including afternoons and evenings.
Eligibility to work in the United States.
Valid California Driver’s license (if working in‑person/hybrid).
Reliable transportation and valid automobile insurance.
Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field.
BCBA Certification.
