This SharePoint Developer / Knowledge Manager position (Secret clearance) is available at US Southern Command in Doral, Florida. The role is 100% onsite.
Opportunity As a CACI SharePoint Developer and Knowledge Manager at US Southern Command, you will support developing, creating, testing, migrating, documenting, maintaining, and daily operations for customer record keeping and data management at the compartmented level.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with Power Apps and custom front‑end solutions.
Design and deploy Power Automate flows for complex business process automation, including approvals, notifications, and data manipulation.
Utilize JSON formatting and schema definitions for custom SharePoint columns, adaptive cards, and API integrations.
Integrate and consume REST APIs and Microsoft Graph APIs to connect with external and Microsoft 365 services such as Outlook, Teams, and Azure AD.
Design and execute SharePoint search queries (KQL) for dynamic data retrieval, user personalization, and document search experiences.
Extend Power Platform capabilities through custom connectors and embedded JavaScript.
Manage data modeling and relationships using Dataverse and SharePoint Lists, ensuring optimal app performance and usability.
Provide data administration support, including data input, modification, deletion, analysis, and document management in line with government policies.
Implement and manage knowledge systems, such as SharePoint and Office 365, to support organizational information needs and communication.
Lead platform expertise in SharePoint and Office 365, offering integrated solutions for improved collaboration.
Analyze business processes, recommending and implementing effective knowledge‑management tools and methodologies.
Administer and maintain the SharePoint environment, including user permissions, content management, and site customization.
Develop and deploy SPFX Web Parts and extensions to customize modern SharePoint experiences, including application customization for field customizer and list view command sets.
Ensure compliance with information assurance policies and perform regular audits to safeguard data.
Offer end‑user training and Tier 1 support, encouraging effective use of KM tools.
Continuously review and enhance knowledge‑management practices to align with current and future organizational needs.
Modernize traditional full‑stack web applications by refactoring components into Power Apps Canvas apps, preserving UX/UI integration using HTML, CSS, and responsive design patterns.
Bridge custom code approaches with Power Platform extensibility through Azure Functions, PowerShell scripts, and embedded JavaScript and Power Pages or SPFX as needed.
Translate RESTful API consumption logic from JavaScript‑based web applications into Power Automate flows using HTTP actions, JSON schema parsing, and custom connectors.
Develop and enhance Power Apps and Power Automate flows to automate knowledge capture, approval, and distribution workflows.
Build user‑friendly interfaces for content entry and retrieval using Canvas apps with intuitive filtering and navigation.
Integrate Microsoft Graph APIs and REST APIs to enhance knowledge access across Microsoft 365 platforms.
Implement version control, auditing, and lifecycle policies to ensure content accuracy, compliance, and retention.
Leverage SharePoint Search and KQL queries to build tailored search experiences and improved knowledge discoverability.
Design, build, and maintain custom SharePoint online sites and libraries to support scalable knowledge‑management systems.
Expertise in development.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years recent specialized experience with a Bachelor's degree; 7 years with an Associate degree or certification; or 11+ years with experience.
Current Secret‑level clearance.
Senior/high competence in Microsoft Office 365 for managing KM systems.
Desired Qualifications
Experience developing and deploying SPFX solutions; integration with Microsoft Teams.
Working knowledge of Azure Services, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure AD B2C/B2B for enhancing and extending SharePoint functionality.
Knowledge of SharePoint migration and experience migrating from on‑premise to SharePoint Online.
Understanding of compliance and governance within Microsoft 365, including DLP, sensitive labels, and retention policies.
Familiarity with modern search web parts and other open‑source community tools for enhancing SharePoint functionality.
Experience supporting Operational Planning Teams (OPTs) and other cross‑functional projects within the DoD or IC.
Microsoft certification such as MS‑600, PL‑400, or Microsoft 365 Certified Developer Associate.
