Req#: 3932028 The purpose of this class within the organization is to operate one or several types of heavy equipment.

This job works under general supervision according to set procedures, but determines how or when to complete tasks.

Operation of dump trucks, front end loader, and skid steer. Responsible for building catch basins. Concrete work; Cut concrete pipes and driveways, f ix concrete sea walls, f ix leaks with hydraulic cement, pour driveways and sidewalks. Lay sod. Haul and lay pipe. Operation of lowboy, dump trucks, front end loader, and skid steer as well as the transportation of equipment. Set up work zone. Performs additional duties as assigned. Requires any combination of education and experience equivalent to High School graduation or GED equivalent and six (6) months of heavy equipment operation or closely related experience. Possession of a valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement and an acceptable driving record is required. Possession of a valid Class A CDL is preferred. This is a safety-sensitive position, which is subject to Drug & Alcohol Workplace testing as provided in DOT regulation 49CFR-parts 40 and /or 655.

The work days and hours are Tuesday - Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm.
