We are seeking an experienced Human Resources professional to manage all HR matters for our Malaysia office. This role is responsible for end-to-end HR operations, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, supporting business leaders and fostering a positive employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment cycle, including job postings, shortlisting, interviews. Coordinate smooth onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Payroll & HR Administration: Prepare and verify monthly payroll inputs, working closely with our payroll provider. Administer employee records, contracts, and HR documentation.
- Compliance & Labour Law: Ensure HR practices comply with Malaysian labour laws, statutory requirements, and company policies. Handle employee relations, disciplinary matters, and dispute resolution inline with regulations.
- General HR Support: Advise managers and employees on HR policies and procedures. Serve as the primary point of contact for local HR matters.
The ideal candidate has
- A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience as an HR generalist/HRBP.
- Strong knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act and related labour laws.
- A proven ability to manage recruitment, employee relations, and compliance matters.
- A result‑driven mindset, aiming for success in a competitive recruitment world.
- Self‑starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
