Hedge Fund Investor Relations
at Wellington Management collaborates with hedge fund investment teams, client relationship teams, and other business units to support our clients' investment needs. Our hedge fund strategies include equity long/short, global macro, credit long/short, and multi-strategy. The main objectives are: Product Development and Marketing:
Contribute to client growth and retention by acting as a subject matter expert, developing new products, creating communication strategies, and differentiating our offerings. Investment Integrity and Risk Management:
Ensure the integrity of investment and risk processes, conduct regular reviews of product risk and performance. Business Management:
Manage risk, capacity, pricing, and guidelines; resolve internal challenges; share best practices in investment integrity, marketing, and product development. Role and Responsibilities
The Investment Analyst will support hedge fund strategies, mainly focusing on equity long/short. Responsibilities include analyzing portfolio positioning, attribution, risk, market trends, and pricing; creating and updating marketing materials; responding to investor inquiries; and performing performance and exposure analyses. Strong Excel skills, data management, attention to detail, and excellent communication are essential. The analyst will work closely with investment directors and specialists to ensure data integrity and support product success. Qualifications
1-3 years of relevant experience University degree, preferably in finance, accounting, or business Strong technical skills and mastery of MS Excel Analytical skills to synthesize data and reach conclusions Effective communication skills and professionalism Attention to detail and solutions-oriented mindset Ability to work independently and in teams Ability to prioritize and work under pressure We welcome candidates who believe they can excel, even if they don't meet all qualifications. The base salary range is USD 65,000 - 150,000, considering skills, experience, and education.
