Lewis Rice LLC, a large St. Louis law firm, has an opening for an Eminent Domain Paralegal. This position requires an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience. A minimum of two years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate are preferred. The hours of the position are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position offers an excellent salary commensurate with experience and an excellent comprehensive benefits package including major medical plans, 401(k) plan, and paid parking.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with all aspects of eminent domain cases
Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
Organize and maintain case files and evidence
Coordinate with clients, experts, and witnesses
Manage deadlines and court filings
Utilize technology resources to support attorneys and clients
Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience Requirements:
Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required
A minimum of two years of relevant experience and a Paralegal certificate preferred
Any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills

Ability to utilize technology resources effectively
