Business Development Manager Sales and growth drive for the TOCNET Voice Management System product line. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and delivering sales growth in defense, aerospace, and industrial markets. Core Responsibilities
Market Analysis and Strategy
Conduct market research to identify potential customers and trends. Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve sales targets. Identify new market opportunities and applications for TOCNET systems.
Sales and Business Development
Generate and qualify leads via networking, cold calling, and events. Develop and deliver compelling presentations and proposals. Manage the sales cycle from contact to contract closure. Build strong relationships with decision-makers. Achieve or exceed sales quotas and revenue targets.
Partnership Development
Identify and establish strategic partnerships with system integrators and distributors. Manage partner relationships to maximize sales and reach. Collaborate on joint marketing and sales initiatives.
Product Knowledge and Advocacy
Develop deep understanding of the TOCNET Voice Management System. Serve as subject matter expert, providing technical and commercial support. Represent SCI Technology at industry events. Provide feedback to product teams.
Reporting & Administration
Maintain accurate sales records and forecasts. Prepare regular reports on activities, pipeline, and trends. Manage travel and expense budgets.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology or relevant experience. Minimum 5 years of business development or sales experience in defense, aerospace, or industrial communication systems. Proven track record of achieving sales targets. Strong understanding of communication systems. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Ability to build relationships with stakeholders. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Can work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Willingness to as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with voice communication systems and IP‑based technologies. Existing network of contacts in defense, aerospace, or industrial sectors. Knowledge of government contracting and procurement processes. Other Information
