Procurement & Inventory Manager

to oversee our purchasing operations and inventory control processes. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, maintaining optimal inventory levels, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that all materials and products meet quality standards and are delivered on time. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and experienced in supply chain management. This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work can fluctuate, work week runs Monday through Friday and hours are 40+ hours per week. . Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals and budget. Manage sourcing, negotiation, and purchasing of materials, equipment, parts and services. Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers. Implement a shop parts perpetual inventory system utilizing Fleetio across multiple company locations Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate stock without overstocking. Use inventory management systems to track and forecast inventory needs. Coordinate with production, logistics, and finance departments to streamline supply chain processes. Analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards. Prepare and present regular reports on procurement and inventory metrics to leadership. Manage and mentor procurement and inventory staff QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of experience in procurement, inventory management, or supply chain. Proficiency in ERP systems and inventory management software (e.g. Fleetio) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Certification in supply chain (e.g., CPSM, APICS, CPIM) is a plus. Experience in construction and automotive/ truck part fields Familiarity with lean inventory practices and just-in-time (JIT) methodology. E.O.E.
